My Language Journey
I speak Hindi as my first language and have a high level of proficiency in English. I am also skilled in French and Spanish.
I didn’t initially have an interest in languages until I started learning French during my college years. This experience sparked my passion for languages and changed my life. While working at my first job, I also completed all levels of Spanish language study.
I have studied Japanese, German, Korean, and Italian to varying degrees while balancing my busy professional and personal life.
I am a faculty member teaching Spanish and French at two universities in India. I offer corporate training, language career counseling, and teach at LanguageNext in Noida, bringing extensive experience in various topics and teaching methods.
You can find more about my work on my LinkedIn profile, and I write about different languages on my various blogs.
My Blogging Experience
Learning a new language can be overwhelming and tedious, but you’re not alone. I’m here to support your journey at every step.
I have always been passionate about various languages for the last 15 years. I have been deeply gripped by foreign language education, training thousands of learners.
I have written countless informative articles and guided students on global prospects. That is why I created many websites about languages. Each reflects my love of different languages and my desire to help others.
In 2017, I started studyfrenchspanish.com, and in 2018, I launched languagenext.com.
Then, joyofkorean.com in 2021, joyofjapanese.com and joyofchinese.com in 2022, joyofspanish.com and joyoffrench.com in 2023, and portuguese.in in 2025.
I manage everything on my own, without profits, investors, or business partners. While this can be challenging, it has also been rewarding and helped me grow in my career.
As my website visitors and social media presence have grown, I’ve hired some great freelancers to help with specific tasks. By doing this, I can continue offering you access to the highest-quality resources available.
Achievements
When I started my first blog in 2017, I had only a few hundred visitors per month. But over the years, it has grown to about 3 million page views per month.
My articles have been cited or recommended by several well-known educational institutions and websites. This includes, but is not limited to, Cervantes.es, Alliance Francaise, Femina, News24, Duolingo, iTalki, Delhi University, University of North Dakota (UND), University of Illinois, Times Bridge, LanguageIndia, Leeds Beckett University, Sejong Korean Institute, AC, Interactio, Eurekly, St. Joseph’s College, Activate Learning, and many more.
I’ve been invited to share my opinions in interviews, debates, and discussions on foreign language topics with different organizations.
The Purpose of the blog Portuguese.in
In India, when people think of foreign languages, they think of French, Spanish, German, Chinese, Japanese, or Korean. Portuguese rarely gets the same attention.
Yet, when you look closer, Portuguese is the fifth most spoken mother tongue and official language of nine countries. It is the gateway to fast-growing Brazil, Portugal, and Africa’s Lusophone nations.
Overall, Portuguese holds immense global importance and is gaining popularity worldwide. Yet, it is often overlooked in India.
Despite this, resources, guidance, and structured information for Indians interested in Portuguese are limited. That is where Portuguese.in comes in. We aim to bridge this gap by offering a comprehensive platform.
Through Portuguese.in, my mission is to create India’s first-of-its-kind and dedicated platform for the Portuguese language and Lusophone culture.
This blog is a helpful resource for both beginners and advanced learners in their language learning journey.
You will find informative and engaging content about the Portuguese on this website. As you keep revisiting the website, you’ll better understand the charming language and gain a deeper understanding of it.
I aim to bring the Portuguese language and culture to life with engaging stories and valuable information on language, careers, studying abroad, exams, news, and updates.
This will be a valuable experience. I will only launch a new website if I’m excited and confident about committing to it long-term.
I hope my knowledge and experience will help you reach your goals and dreams related to all things Portuguese.
